How it works
You are not booking a slot. You are asking, and then choosing.
Tell us what needs doing, add a photo if you have one, and say where you are. It takes a minute, and nothing about it is binding.
Your request goes to certified professionals in your area who do that kind of work. They come back with what they would charge for it.
Look at who responded, what they are approved for and what they are asking. Accept the one you want. Mendly stays with the job from there.
What it costs
Mendly doesn't set prices. Every professional here runs their own business and sets their own rates. What we do is make sure the number is settled — with the person you chose — before anybody comes to your door.
Once you accept, the amount is recorded against the job. If it changes, it changes because you agreed to it.
Say what you're willing to pay. Nothing is fixed by saying it.
Accepts your figure, or comes back with their own and says why.
Take it, or don't. Saying no costs nothing and someone else can answer.
Why Mendly
A professional does not simply sign up. Their skills are assessed for each trade they want to work in, and the assessment is recorded — who assessed them, how, and what the result was.
A certificate is granted for a defined trade and it expires. When it lapses, the professional stops receiving work through Mendly until it is renewed.
Mendly stands behind the work. If you are not satisfied, we step in and resolve it. You are not left negotiating with a stranger about a job that has already gone wrong.
